    Handwriting

    At St. Barnabas we take great pride in our handwriting using Letter-join as the basis of our handwriting policy. We use cursive/joined up handwriting style handwriting from Year 1-Year 6. Nursery and Reception use printed letter formations, which is in line with our ELS Phonics programme.

    Home Learning

    Our school is part of the Letter-join handwriting scheme and our pupils can log in to the Letter-join website on iPads and tablets as well as desktop and laptop computers at home. There you will find the same, easy-to-use handwriting resources that we use at school. To access home learning log in details click on the home learning document below:

    Letter Family Posters

    Children will be taught letter formations in letter families: curly caterpillar, long ladder, one armed robot and zig-zag letters.
