At our school, children in Years 3–6 learn French through an engaging programme called Salut!. Lessons focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing in fun and practical ways. Pupils build confidence in using everyday vocabulary, explore French culture, and enjoy activities such as songs, games, and role play. Learning a new language helps develop communication skills, broadens horizons, and encourages curiosity about the wider world.
